The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET 2024) will consist of two papers: Paper-I for candidates who wish to teach Classes I to V, and Paper-II for those intending to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates who want to be eligible to teach both levels (I to V and VI to VIII) must appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II.

TG-TET Exam Structure:

All questions in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. Below is the structure and content for both papers:

Qualifying Marks in TG-TET:

The qualifying marks for different categories are as follows:

Memos/Pass Certificates:

  • SCERT (State Council of Educational Research and Training) and the TET Convener of Telangana will issue Memos/Pass Certificates to the qualified candidates.

Special Category for Differently Abled Candidates:

  • Differently abled candidates with at least 40% disability (visual and orthopedic) will be considered in the PH (Physically Handicapped) category.
  • Hearing impaired candidates must have at least 75% disability to be considered under the PH category.
